Catering

Fresh, varied food for pupils every day

Information about school meals, menus, allergies, free school meals and catering across Trinity Primary and Trinity Secondary.

Fresh school food at Trinity

Food is an important part of daily life at Trinity. Across our Primary and Secondary phases, pupils have access to fresh, varied and enjoyable meals that support learning, wellbeing and community.

Trinity works with Innovate, part of Impact Food Group, to provide school food across both phases. The offer is designed to give pupils choice, flavour and balance, whether they are enjoying a Primary school lunch, choosing from the Secondary restaurant, or using their free school meal allowance as part of the normal lunch arrangements.

Allergies and dietary needs: if your child has a food allergy, intolerance or dietary requirement, please make sure the school is informed before they use the catering service. Families should also check the current allergen information before making meal choices.

Primary catering

Primary school meal at Trinity

At Trinity Primary, pupils can enjoy school meals each day.

The Primary menu is planned to offer choice, nutrition and variety across the school week. The menu works on a three week cycle, helping to keep lunchtimes varied and enjoyable.

Each day may include two hot meal choices, with at least one vegetarian option. Pupils may also be able to choose a jacket potato with toppings, a filled roll, salad, fresh bread and dessert.

Families select Primary meals through SchoolGrid. This helps families choose meals in advance and supports the school and catering team in planning the daily lunch offer.

Primary meals are currently covered through the Mayor of London free school meals funding for primary aged pupils. There is no payment for Primary meals.

Families who may be eligible for benefit related free school meals should still apply through Lewisham Council. This is important because it can help the school receive additional funding to support pupils.

What Primary pupils can expect
