Charities we support

Here at Trinity, we aim to provide a nurturing school environment, surrounded by supportive peers and staff, which allows you to live life in all its fullness and flourish as individuals. We support a number of local charities. The charities selected, reflect issues that are important to us as a school community. By conducting various fund activities, we both raise funds to support these charities and to raise awareness of the different issues our pupils will encounter.

Demelza

Demelza is a charity that provides "extraordinary care to extraordinary children" with serious or life-limiting conditions. We partner with them through regular fundraising efforts and charity drives, collecting items for their shops and helping to make an impact in the lives of the families they serve.

Lewisham Foodbank

Lewisham Foodbank offers food packages to individuals and families facing crisis. As part of a nationwide network with over 1,400 locations across the UK, it plays a vital role in helping communities in need. The Trinity Faith Team volunteers at the Lewisham branch, working together to support local families.

AFRIL

 www.afril.org.uk

Action for Refugees in Lewisham (AFRIL) is a local initiative supporting refugee and asylum-seeking families in our community. Based at our parish church, The Church of the Good Shepherd, AFRIL provides services including a supplementary school for children, a foodbank, and expert advice and advocacy. Each year, our school contributes its Harvest collection to AFRIL.

Little Village

 www.littlevillagehq.org

Little Village is a charity that works with families with babies and young children living in poverty across London. They have "baby banks" based across London that collect clothes, toys and equipment, so that many more babies and young children have the essential things they need to thrive. The Trinity Faith Team host donation drives to collect donations for the charity's distribution hubs.
