Clubs and Opportunities

Helping pupils discover interests, build confidence and grow as part of the Trinity community.
At Trinity Primary, learning does not stop at the classroom door. Pupils have opportunities to take part in clubs, sport, trips, worship, leadership, service and wider experiences that help them grow in confidence and character.
These opportunities support pupils to try new things, make friends, develop skills and contribute to the life of the school. They are an important part of the Trinity journey, helping children grow as curious, confident and caring members of our community.
Beyond the classroom: clubs and wider opportunities help pupils build confidence, friendships, responsibility and a stronger sense of belonging.
What pupils can take part in
Clubs
Termly clubs give pupils the chance to try new activities, learn new skills and spend time with others who share similar interests.
Sport and activity
Pupils develop teamwork, confidence, communication and healthy habits through PE, sport and wider physical activities.
Trips and experiences
Visits, class adventures and projects help pupils connect their learning to the wider world and build lasting memories.
Faith and service
Pupils have opportunities to take part in worship, prayer, charity work and activities that help them think about others and serve their community.
Leadership and character
Children are encouraged to take responsibility, show kindness, grow in independence and become positive role models within the school.
Current Primary clubs
Our clubs change during the year. The latest club list is shared with families each term and shows which clubs are available, which year groups can take part, dates, times and how to sign up.
We recommend checking the current club information each term, as places, timings and activities may change.
The Trinity Charters
The Trinity Charters sit alongside the curriculum and help pupils take part in a broad range of experiences as they move through Primary. They encourage children to grow in confidence, independence, responsibility and character.
Through the Charters, pupils are encouraged to try new opportunities, celebrate their progress and develop the skills and values that help them become terrific Trinitarians.

Sport and active opportunities
Physical activity is an important part of school life. Pupils learn through team sports, individual activities and opportunities that help them develop confidence, communication, teamwork and perseverance.
Through PE and wider activities, children are encouraged to enjoy being active, support one another and develop healthy habits that can continue beyond school.
Faith, leadership and service
As a Church of England school, Trinity gives pupils opportunities to reflect, worship, pray, serve and think about how they can make a positive difference.
Primary pupils take part in worship and seasonal celebrations, and have opportunities to develop responsibility, compassion and courageous advocacy through the wider life of the school.
Trips, visits and wider experiences
Trips, visits and special experiences help pupils connect learning to real places, people and ideas. They also help children develop independence, curiosity and confidence beyond the classroom.
These wider experiences are part of how we help pupils understand themselves, their community and the world around them.
Access and inclusion
We want pupils to be able to take part in the wider life of the school. If your child would like to join an opportunity and you have a question about access, cost, timings or support, please contact the Primary office.
We will always do our best to talk with families and support pupils to take part where possible.
