Learning, Loving, Living
· Learning
Pupils learn the correct forms and skills to complete a variety of sports. This includes reasons for safety as well as including cross curricular vocabulary– especially science.
· Loving
Pupils have the opportunity to discover new sports/physical activities that they grow to love and can move forward with. All children show love, care and good sportsmanship to all. Families are able to get involved with wider school/city wide activities bringing all of the community together.
· Living
Pupils develop skills in sport that aid communication with new people. P.E helps children to make new friends and have fruitful and meaningful lives outside of school. All children develop the skills to live healthy and active lifestyles.
Vision for P.E
At Trinity, P.E provides our pupils with all the skills needed to be both successful in sport as well as beyond the classroom. With the expertise of our staff, pupils are given the support needed to fulfil their potential and develop their confidence, creativity and teamwork skills.

Year 4, 5 & 6 have PE from 1:30 – 3:10pm each Thursday. PE is taught by teachers at Trinity with the occasional specialist for specific specialist topics, such as yoga.
Team sports will be: Y4 –Rugby, Y5 – Football, Y6 – Volleyball
Individual Sports will be: Y4 – Badminton Y5 – Tennis Y6- Handball
