WORSHIP

Worship plays a central role in the life of Trinity school, providing a shared space where children and staff come together to reflect, give thanks, and grow in faith. It nurtures spiritual development and reinforces Christian values, helping children to understand and live out Trinity’s core characteristics such as Caring, independence, and resilience. Rooted in scripture, worship often draws on verses like Micah 6:8 – "What does the Lord require of you? To act justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God," guiding children to live with compassion and integrity. Regular worship fosters a strong sense of community and belonging, while also encouraging children to explore their beliefs and deepen their understanding of God. The presence of visiting clergy, such as local priests and faith leaders, enriches these experiences, offering varied perspectives and making connections between faith and everyday life. Worship not only strengthens the school’s Christian ethos but also has a lasting impact on children, helping them grow into thoughtful, reflective, and compassionate individuals.

CURRICULUM OVERVIEW

At Trinity, each year group studies different elements of Christianity with Autumn 2 and Spring two focussing on incarnation and salvation. Every Year group will study a world religion as well as a topic called Global Neighbours which focusses on how students can become courageous advocates and a model citizen

Reading Schemes

The reading series we use are:

KNOWLEDGE ORGANISERS

Knowledge organisers are used by students to give them an overview of their learning for each half term. Key concepts, vocabulary facts and scriptures are mapped out for them.
