Learning outside the classroom can add so much to a pupil's perspective. It allows them to see what they have been doing in class in context. It brings learning to life, encourages a feeling of belonging and pride as they represent themselves in the community. Where ever possible, teachers are encouraged to facilitate trips so that pupils can see and experience this for themselves.
